| Are there different Types of Architectural Projects? Most Architectural Projects can be grouped into one of the following categories: New Construction, such as the design & building of a new house; Expansion, such as the design & building of a new addition to an existing structure; Renovation, such as the interior remodelling of an existing space. | What are your Fees? Our Fees are established on a project-by-project basis, and must be approved by the Client prior to the provision of any Services by our Firm. For further information, please contact our offices. |

| How long does a project take? Every project is unique, and therefore each project will present different opportunities, requirements, restrictions, etc. In addition, during the course of the project, hitherto unforeseen factors may arise which can affect any & all aspects of the Scope of Work. It is not always possible to predict the degree of difficulty to be encountered during any project, regardless of size or scope, nor is it possible to allow for unforeseen circumstances outside our control. These factors are sometimes referred to as "Acts of God" or "Force Majeure". It is strongly recommended that a contingency allowance should always be factored into your planning budget. | What are Full Architectural Services? Full Architectural Services typically comprise the following: Schematic or Conceptual Design: Establishing an initial design concept based upon your requirements; Design Development: Elaboration upon the design concept in greater detail; Construction Documents: Working drawings which will be used to realize your project goals; Bidding & Negotiation: Working with contractors to obtain the best price possible; Permit: Working with applicable agencies to ensure that all requirements are met; Observation of Work: To ensure that the project, as completed, conforms to the design concept; Please note, however, that every project is different, and will therefore require a different combination of services.
